The Eco Gathering is an event organized by Why Not? to create a platform for Creative and Transformational workshops held in Malta’s countryside. This event has brought together several hundreds of people over the years where each of the participants had the opportunity to experience Yoga, Meditation techniques, Chanting, Tai Chi, Dance, Conscious Eating and learn about Permaculture, Sustainability and more.

The heart of this 3 day gathering in nature is the campsite and communal areas where guests gradually and inevitably are placed in interactive settings such as spontaneous jamming sessions, drum circles, group sharing and dance: each adding to the pulse and vibration of the event. The event is spearheaded by the volunteers from Why Not? as well as regular Why Not? members who love to be part of the creative process in the organization of this event. Hand painted signs, compost toilets, meditation huts and a communal spirit, characterize this event which aims at inclusion and to inspire others to live sustainably and responsibly.
