The Spirit of Free and Creative Musical expression always was the inspiration behind Why Not?’s Jamming Fest.
With no definite script in mind the concept was to provide an open platform for people to spend time camping and relaxing in nature whilst coming together to make music. Nothing was scripted, there were no sound engineers or light choreographers, no bands, no gigs or all the other elements that make up a regular show; just the freedom to make music out in the open air, with Nature as a venue.
The Jamming Fest served to unite people through music... so children, friends and pets were also most welcome to join 🙂 . Participants were encouraged to cook together, to share their food, smiles and their warmth with their neighbours in the spirit of community. This is the spirit embraced at our Jamming Fests.
We extend our gratitude to the Mellieha Local Council for their support and cooperation in permitting us to hold these events in their locality and thank them for their open-mindedness and their good will.
